Honeycomb Sculpture at Hudson Yards
Honeycomb Sculpture at Hudson Yards
Vessel or better known as Thomas Heatherwick’s “Honeycomb Structure” will be the centerpiece of the Hudson Yard’s Development. Placed in the middle of Hudson Yards’ five-acre Public Square and Garden, this 15-story shell consists of 2,500 steps along with an elevator. Said to be one of the most complex structures ever made, Vessel will be made up of 75 pre-fabricated pieces constructed in Italy and shipped to New York.
